By accessing or using A Pastor App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

A Pastor App is a pastoral care management tool designed to help church leaders track and care for their congregation. The App provides features including member management, pastoral notes, follow-up reminders, AI-powered insights, and spiritual journey tracking.

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Store or transmit malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Use the App to store illegal or inappropriate content
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the App for any purpose other than pastoral care management

5. Data Responsibility

As a user of the App, you are responsible for:

  • Obtaining necessary consent from congregation members before entering their information
  • Ensuring the accuracy of data you input
  • Complying with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction
  • Maintaining appropriate confidentiality of sensitive pastoral information
  • Backing up your data as needed

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by A Pastor App and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any data you input into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the App may require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of subscription fees
  • At our sole discretion for any reason

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Accuracy or reliability of any information
  • Security or freedom from viruses

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, A PASTOR APP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A Pastor App and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
